Greece’s history of ancient
Greece’s history of ancient Like India, Greece’s early historyhas been ambiguous and unpredictable. The lack of authentic testimonies about historical events cannot be overlooked because of the importance of Greece history of ancienttraditions and tales, especially since their religious and semi-religious stories were considered part of their history. The Battle of Troy, which became the subject of the stories of the Greek heroes, has some historical relevance, but its causes and results are quite legendary.
The story of the Battle of Troy is one of the most famous in Greek history, it is mentioned by the Greek poet Homer in his epic poems. Homer’s poems have great importance in Greek history and literature.
Reasons for the Battle of Troy: –
According to the Iliad story, Helen, the queen of Sparta (the city of Greece) was abducted by the Prince of Troy. To avenge this dishonor, the Greek army decided to invade Troy, a large part of which was attended by prominent Greek heroes. The army of Troy bravely fought against the Greek army and withheld the siege of the Greek army for ten years. To conquer Troy, a Greek prince, Odysseus, suggested that it would be difficult to conquer Troy, but if we make a combination, we must win.
The victory of Greece: –
Odyssey suggested that we have to convince Troy’s army that we are going back, that we see our god. With this excuse they will open the gate of the fort, all we have to do is to build a large wooden horse in which some of our armies will enter the fort and open the fort gate by attacking the army of Tarai in the darkness of night. It will also serve our purpose and ensure victory.
So it was done, and thus the Greeks found it easy to conquer Troy. It is a war in history that was won not by bravery but by deception. This shows that the people of Troy and the army were also their own ideals in bravery; it would have been impossible for Greece to conquer Troy if it had not been forged with them.
