The problem of unemployment in the African region is nothing new, it has been here since the time of the colonization here in the past. And this is also the reason for the promotion of slavery.

 One has to agree that the main reason for unemployment in Africa is the colonial system which has grown slowly and quietly here. At that time all agricultural land was stripped of the local people and made them unemployed. Earlier, people in ancient Africa knew about the Mediterranean and the Middle East.

Currently, the unemployment rate is relatively low in the desert areas of Africa, people are accustomed to the regional climate so there are very few people outside so there are more employment opportunities. The youth share here is 23.5% of the 38.1% who work even on a regular minimum wage. In contrast, unemployment is generally higher in North Africa. Overall, unemployment among African or black people is higher than in other nations.

The role of the UN in reducing unemployment

More than 200 million people are unemployed worldwide due to the on-going global economic crisis and inaccurate economic policies of global financial institutions, while movement against dysfunctional economic policies in 900 cities in more than 90 countries of the world continues. According to the Tribe’s Investigative Report, the world population has risen to 7 billion at present, of which more than 20 million people are suffering from severe financial problems due to unemployment. More than one billion people worldwide suffer from malnutrition ‘1 billion. More people drink clean water while millions of people suffer from various ailments. The report says that the number of unemployed people in the world is the highest level in history. The UN agency says that it is important to take the unemployment rate to a level before the current economic crisis. Eight million new jobs are created every year in the economy.

The government has warned that the global economy is on the brink of a new and slightly more dangerous crisis that could result in widespread social upheaval.

The Central Intelligence Agency, also briefly referred to as the CIA, reports that various countries, including the International In-Employment and International Council for Pathology or ICO, deal with global hunger and poverty, to tackle the economic crisis globally. According to the United Nations, worldwide anti-government movements have started due to the failed policies of global financial institutions and rising unemployment. Thousands of educated and young people have taken to the streets in 900 major cities in more than 90 countries around the world under the Wall Street movement.

The unemployment rate in the global superpower country by 2010 was 23.8 percent, compared to 35 percent in Afghanistan, Albania. The unemployment rate was more than 7% in Canada, up from 14%, more than 5% in Australia, 15% in Bahrain, 5% in Bangladesh, 6% in Brazil and over 7% in Canada. In 2010, the world’s largest unemployment rate was 4.1 percent in China, compared to 9 percent in France and more than 5 percent in Germany, the second= largest country in the world by population. The rate was 10.8%

At the present time, no country is saved from unemployment and a better policy is needed. And the world has to take steps to end this issue seriously
